Johnny is a dapper gent who loves to sip tequila and read classic literature. Mary is more laid back; she loves spending time at the beach and working on cars.
Substitute whatever name you wish, but what we have here are two parking lot attendants, each in their own security booth, each with different paraphernalia that suggests a personality. Mary's booth is particularly interesting because there's a recorded male voice playing on a loop explaining how to pay and what will happen if you don't. The two booths are across the street from each other.
