- From E. Reno Ave. turn south onto S. Beyers Ave., which is the parking lot for Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World (200 Bass Pro Dr). Drive past the store, under the freeway overpass, into another big parking lot. Park in the far right hand corner; the steps leading to the monument are there.

[Del Clark, 07/27/2015]We found the best place to park was just past the Bass Pro Shop parking lot, under the freeway. This monument is well worth a half hour out of your road trip.

RoadsideAmerica.com contributor Shawn recently made mention of the Land Run Monument in Oklahoma City. We were in OK City in Sept. 2007 and saw it. If you're in the area it's well worth seeing. There were a number of sculptures in place, with more to come.
