Right on the highway -- easy access. Great stop on the way to Mesa Verde National Park. Very unique!

There are some really fun wood statues and totems here. The owners are friendly and enjoy visitors!

While zipping down to Mesa Verde, I passed this place on highway 160. My curiosity overcame me and I was greeted by friendly wooden figures as I pulled into the gravel driveway. The same courtesy was given by the co-owners, Dave and Nancy. They have been doing this work for more than a couple of years and have churned out everything from the standard fare (wooden bears, vultures etc.) to the more unique (Navajo jesters, doctors of sacrifice, and a bullfrog catching a fly, etc.). Ask Dave about his opinion on the current war -- that will get him going. Unfortunately no Bigfoot seen.
