This is a family farm. We texted ahead so that they would know we were coming. When we arrived, we were met by Marcia and David Johnson, owners of the farm and a really interesting couple of folks. They took us back behind their house and showed us the goat tower. We got the history of the tower (which was designed in 1998 by David) and we got to meet the goats. It we fun to see these animals, clearly well-cared for and completely enjoying their private tower. The Johnson's don't stop the tour at the tower. After petting the goats and talking about the tower design, they took us to the front of the house. They have a musical rock, a replica Anheuser-Busch stork chimney sculpture, and a huge flock of geese that hang out at their pond. If you have any interest in the local scene, or you're looking for something to do in the area, they're full of information and can't wait to share. If you are in the mood to get out of your car and get a good slice of local culture, who wouldn't want to experience the world's tallest (accidentally, just ask them) goat tower?
[Joe Whalen, 11/23/2021]No goats on the tower or in the area when we took the lengthy journey out. They did however, have fake goats on the tower. Kind of a bust, although the country drive was picturesque.

Wasn't lucky enough to see goats climbing the tower, they were only grazing nearby. Since tower is on private property, binoculars and/or a good zoom lens are helpful for a good view from the road.
[O'Neal, 03/16/2014]The Tower of Baaa is a goat tower modeled after a goat tower that the owners, Dave and Marcia Johnson's saw in a wine magazine called Decanter, modeled after a tower at a winery in South Africa.
