Jack Sisemore's RV Museum
Amarillo, Texas
Jack Sisemore owns the oldest RV dealership in Texas, and began collecting vintage trailers, campers, and mobile homes in 1986. His museum, which has its own building, displays a rotating collection of homes-away-from-home from the 1930s to the 1970s. There's a 1915 Model T Kampcar, a 1967 VW hippie van, the world's oldest Airstream (a 1935 Torpedo), and the 1948 Flxible bus used by the Gornicke family in the Robin Williams film RV. Jack, and his son Trent, are especially proud of the RVs they've found in barns, some so well kept by their tidy-traveling owners that they didn't need to be restored.
